We hiked four miles along the Campuan Ridge amongst lush jungle, with rivers on both sides and rice fields. Albert enjoyed walking behind Rhonda and watching her “tush action.”

Albert's Birthday
We had a great time Skyping our friends in San Miguel. We managed to connect with our friends even though it was a 13-hour difference. They sung happy birthday to him from half way across the world.
For his birthday we decided to put on the ritz by having lunch at the awesome Four Seasons hotel. The staff surprised us with a birthday chorus and dessert. The architecture and grounds are done with the utmost taste and is something to behold.
Kecak Monkey Dance
We saw a story acted out from Hindu literature called the Monkey Dance in an open-air theatre. The costumes and masks were remarkable.
The Kecak features a 'choir' of men and boys who sit in concentric circles and slip into a trance as they chant and sing the 'chak-a-chak-a-chak', imitating a troupe of monkeys.
Bali Bird Park
Set amongst 2 hectares of botanical landscape are 1,000 birds of 250 different species from Borneo, Java, Sumatra, Bali, South Africa and South America. What was fascinating was to be in a three-story enclosed aviary, walking amongst the birds as if we were in the Borneo rainforest.
We haven’t seen birds with colors like this ever.
Reptile Park
The Reptile Park next door had an exhibit of turtles, different species of iguana’s, pythons and the world’s biggest crocodile which grows up 23 feet and is a seawater creature.
