The home stay was our base to recuperate from jet lag and acclimating to the tropics. We gave up looking for our ideal house in the countryside amongst the rice fields because riding a motorscotter is like putting your life into their hands. We finally found a wonderful place that was like living in the country with a rice field, a pool, and a wonderful lotus pond with fish and frogs, right here in town, only two blocks from the center.
